Zareba 100 Mile AC Powered Low Impedance Charger is ideal for long, heavily weeded fence conditions. Use with difficult to contain animals and to keep predators out. The 8900 has 6 joules output at 75 ohms. Operates electric fencing, including high tensile steel or aluminum wire, polywire, polyrope and polytape systems. Other features include easy-access terminals for quick connections and installation, a durable cabinet; large indicator light shows fence controller is working, digital timing, UL-listed and a one-year warranty that includes damage caused by lightning. Includes a Storm Guard Lightning Protection Module. Distance Rating for Steel Wire: 100 miles (no weeds), 50 miles (light weeds), 25 miles (heavy weeds). Distance Rating for Polywire: 50 miles (no weeds), 25 miles (light weeds), 12 miles (heavy weeds). Produces a sharp, short, safe shock on the fence line of your enclosure. Low impedance technology maintains maximum energy on the fence.
